Emma Chu – Treasurer
1. Why are you running for this position?
I want the school to be in a better environment, not just for the students, but also the teachers. With the help of my fellow student council members and top 5 executive board, we will be able to achieve goals we weren’t able to before.
2. What qualities do you have that make you stand out compared to other candidates?
I am hard working and committed to whatever I do, and what ever task I’m given. Dedication and responsibility are two very important qualities a treasurer must have, and I believe I represent both. When I am devoted to such an important club like student council, I am passionate about what I can do to help my school.
3. What do you believe makes you a great student leader?
I have leadership experience and I work my hardest to be involved with, not only school activities, but also outside-of-school activities. I am involved in multiple activities that help me better understand others, work with people, and help those in need.
4. If you win, what do you want your legacy to be at Township?
I want to be known as the positive role-model. I want to leave Washington Township known as the devoted person who left a mark to help the people around her, accomplished the most, and pushed herself to be the best person she could be, without turning back and regretting.
5. Who has provided the most positive influence on your development as a leader?
The people who have provided the most positive influence towards me to develop as a leader are the people of student council and our advisors. Our advisors to help us be the best we can be and to do the right thing. Student Council is a club surrounded by the topic of leadership and its positive impact on me has greatly improved my leadership skills.
