What is the charity you chose to represent?

The American Cancer Society. Unfortunately, I lost two of my grandparents to cancer. I want to make them proud and help give back to an association that is dedicated to eliminating cancer from the world.

Why do you best represent Washington Township?

I am very involved, basically every club and activity here. I always try to be sweet and helpful to others, and I constantly have a positive attitude.

What is your favorite pick-up line?

I would say, ‘God bless you,’ but it looks like he already did.

If you could pick anyone besides yourself to win, who would it be?

Lily. She is the perfect representation of a queen. Ever since 7th grade Lily and I have been going to the homecoming game together and dreamed of being on the other side of the fence hoping that would be us someday. Lily is hardworking, dedicated, and kindhearted. She always has a smile when you see her in the halls, and I would love to watch her open the box of white rose on homecoming night.

Favorite food:

Chicken cutlets with pasta

Favorite movie:

ELF

Favorite music artist:

It would have to be a tie between Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift.

What TV show/movie character are you most like?

Buddy the Elf. Buddy is always happy, smiling, and all around friendly. My friends and family have always described me as him.

What is your go-to Wawa order?

Chicken and cheese quesadilla with a lemonade out of the fountain. Maybe if I am super hungry that day the sweet cream pretzel or vanilla/ chocolate milkshake no whip cream.

If you could give yourself one superpower, what would it be?

To be able to read minds. Sometimes I see people and I always want to know what they’re thinking, so if I had that ability, I feel like I would know so much more info. It could also be funny to see what goes on in certain people’s head.

What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience?

Being a part of the Class Council exec board. I was lucky enough to be involved with Claco for four years now. My advisors are the sweetest and funniest people ever and my other members are like family. Working with them has made my high school years so much more than I could have ever dream of.

If you could change one thing about the world you live in, what would it be?

Every time someone makes someone else laugh or smile, they make $10.

What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?

Get involved asap. You never want to join something too late. I know saying this is all you hear when you’re about to go into high school or just starting off. But, getting involved as soon as you can is so much better than scrambling at the last minute. Advice about life would be to live it to the fullest. Do not let anyone dull your sparkle.

What are your plans and goals for after high school?

After high school I plan to go to college (unsure of where yet). In college I plan to try out for a dance team and major in nursing. The ultimate goal is to become a nurse and following a path into anesthesiology.

Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you?

My grandma, my Mamu. Unfortunately, she suffered from cancer and passed, but she was one of the most selfless people you would have ever met. She always put others before herself. One story that really resonated with me would be when she worked at St. Joseph’s Prep in Philly. A student was in line for lunch and the lunch lady turned him away because he did not have enough money in his account to pay for his food. My grandma pulled him into the office and told him to always use her account because she never wants to see him go hungry at lunch. From that day on they never spoke about the situation, and she paid for his lunch for the next 4 years. I hope to be half as good of a person like her.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

Starbucks. My friends and family know I basically live there (the workers even know me by name). Starbucks makes all of my favorite drinks and is much better than Dunkin. The taste, quality, and experience are just overall something I could not live without.

What is something about you that most people do not know?

On top of being Italian, German, and Irish, I am actually half Brazilian.

Describe yourself in three words.

Kindhearted, outgoing, and reliable.

If you had to give a 20-minute presentation on a topic of your choosing, what would it be?

Dance. Dance holds a special place in my heart because I have been a dancer for 16 years. I have so many insane, hilarious, and heartwarming stories I could talk about for hours.

What has been the best part about being on the Homecoming Court?

Being chosen to not only be on the court but to choreograph the dance. Dance has been my whole life and I was so happy the advisors chose me to help create the dance.
