What is the charity you chose to represent?

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Someone very close to me who has made a huge impact on my life has had an extremely long battle with Leukemia. I would be honored to raise money for such an important foundation and help with the funding they deserve.

Why do you best represent Washington Township?

By showing leadership, dedication, school spirit, and kindness. I am a captain on the girls’ basketball team, I am a senior class officer, one of our TWP Frontline student section leaders, I’m in our school’s dance company, and I am always a person for my friends and family to lean on.

What is your favorite pick-up line?

I might have to complain to Spotify for you not being named this week’s hottest single.

If you could pick anyone besides yourself to win, who would it be?

Ava Franco. Not only is she my best friend, but she is a funny, kind, and caring person. I am so grateful to have this experience with her.

What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience?

Playing basketball at this school will forever be memorable to me. Getting to play with my best friends and meeting new people has been an amazing opportunity.

If you could change one thing about the world you live in, what would it be?

If I could, I would make the world a happier place where everyone treats each other with kindness.

What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?

Sounds so cliché, but it really does fly by so make the most of it. Don’t dwell on things you cannot control, keep moving forward, and be the best version of yourself possible.

What are your plans and goals for after high school?

I want to go to college in Florida and go into the medical field, hopefully medical imaging.

What teacher or faculty member has made the biggest impact on your high school career?

Mrs. Burkhart has had a huge impact on me throughout high school. From being my volleyball coach freshman year to my gym teacher junior year, she has taught me so much and has always been a person I could rely on to talk or get advice about anything.

Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you?

My mom. She is my best friend and my mentor. My mom has taught me about respect, kindness, hard work, and has never stopped pushing me to be the best I can be.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

My bed. It is very comfy, and I love to sleep.

What is something about you that most people do not know?

I have 33 first cousins, 5 of which are in the high school.
