What is the charity you chose to represent?

The National Alliance on Mental Illness. We are all affected by mental illness, whether it is within ourselves or someone we love. Everyone deserves to feel seen and supported, and NAMI’s mission is to bring awareness to mental conditions and offer help to those who are struggling.

Why do you best represent Washington Township?

I am heavily involved in our school, especially within our arts programs. I hold many leadership positions within the clubs I participate in, and I always try to respect, encourage, and support those around me.

What is your favorite pick-up line?

Are you my appendix? I don’t know what you do or how you work, but I feel like I should take you out.

If you could pick anyone besides yourself to win, who would it be?

I would pick any of the other 11 girls. This court is full of amazing candidates who all deserve to win! Everyone is very involved and are some of the best representations of Washington Township.

Favorite food:

Ranch dressing. Anything with ranch.

Favorite movie:

Perks of Being a Wallflower

Favorite music artist:

The queen herself, Lady Gaga.

What TV show/movie character are you most like?

Jim, from The Office. We have very similar personality types, and I like being creative and messing with my friends.

What is your go-to Wawa order?

A nice, warm pork roll, egg and cheese on a bagel Sizzli.

If you could give yourself one superpower, what would it be?

Telekinesis because I feel like there’s a lot that you could do with that. Like, you could probably find out how to fly with it somehow.

What has been your most embarrassing moment at WTHS?

Falling dead asleep in choir class after getting 45 minutes of sleep during “24 at the Core”.

What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience?

Performing in the school musical and SDC during COVID, even after being quarantined for two weeks, was so rewarding. We persevered, and I am so grateful to have had that opportunity.

If you could change one thing about the world you live in, what would it be?

I would change the ignorance and intolerance that exists within our society. I would make our world more accepting and accommodating for everyone who lives within it.

What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?

Be yourself, and don’t be afraid to step outside the box. People will always have their opinions, but it is more important to do what makes you happy.

What are your plans and goals for after high school?

I want to major in Psychology and minor in Musical Theatre at a university and become a Forensic Psychologist.

What teacher or faculty member has made the biggest impact on your high school career?

Mrs. Molotsky, a.k.a. Molot, has always been someone I could talk to for the past four years, and she listens and supports you. She has and will continue to provide me with some of the best opportunities I’ve had in high school.

Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you?

My sister, who will also be my special person, has always been the best big sister I could ever ask for. She is so humble, beautiful, and kind, and is always one of my biggest supporters.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

My comfort water bottle. It goes everywhere with me, and even has a special holder in my car.

What is something about you that most people do not know?

I am a blackbelt in Club Penguin Card Jitsu.

Describe yourself in three words.

Persistent, sincere, exuberant.

Bob Ross. I think his life and art are both very interesting, and there is a lot that people don’t know about him.

What has been the best part about being on the Homecoming Court?

Becoming friends with 11 other girls, some of whom I would not have crossed paths with otherwise.
