What is the charity you chose to represent?

National Alliance on Mental Illness. I chose this charity because there are many people that suffer from mental illness and I don’t think it is brought to people’s attention as much as it should be.

Why do you best represent Washington Township?

I always try to include and bring out a positive attitude towards everyone.

What is your favorite pick-up line?

Are you a parking ticket? Cause you’ve got “fine” written all over you.

If you could pick anyone besides yourself to win, who would it be?

I would pick Sophie McCrea. I’ve known Sophie since I was a baby and she never failed to make me laugh when I was having a bad day. She deserves it more than anyone I know!

Favorite food:

Steak and mac and cheese

Favorite movie:

The Fault in Our Stars

Favorite music artist:

Justin Bieber

What TV show/movie character are you most like?

Katniss Everdeen from Hunger Games. She is a strong, independent woman, and I feel like we have a lot of the same character traits.

What is your go-to Wawa order?

Chicken cheese quesadilla with a blue icee.

If you could give yourself one superpower, what would it be?

To fly

What has been your most embarrassing moment at WTHS?

Sophomore year cheering at the football games not knowing a single cheer.

What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience?

Friday night football games when everyone comes together and has fun!

If you could change one thing about the world you live in, what would it be?

To turn social media into a positive platform instead of all the negativity

What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?

Never take anything for granted, get involved, you don’t realize how fast time goes by until it is gone. The memories you make now you will never forget.

What are your plans and goals for after high school?

To attend Florida Atlantic University and major in nursing, working in a Florida hospital.

What teacher or faculty member has made the biggest impact on your high school career?

Mrs. Baud. She was always a person that I could go and talk to and would listen no matter what.

Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you?

My dad has always taught me right from wrong in life and has always been there for me no matter what the situation was. I wouldn’t be where I am in life right now if it wasn’t for him.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

My family. I always know that I have a good support system through thick and thin, and we will always have each other’s back.

What is something about you that most people do not know?

I have a fear of spiders.

Describe yourself in three words.

Outgoing, caring, and energetic.

If you had to give a 20-minute presentation on a topic of your choosing, what would it be?

I could give a speech about mental health awareness. Most people don’t realize how much mental illness makes an impact on your life and the daily struggles people face. You never know what people face behind closed doors, like the saying “never judge a book by its cover”.

What has been the best part about being on the Homecoming Court?

Getting close with the girls on homecoming court, coming together and making up dances and all having fun!
