The internet is taking fame to another level by turning adorable little animals into huge celebrities all over social media. Not only cats and dogs are becoming incredibly popular around the world, thousands of various types of animals are as well. “I think it’s adorable” Ashley Shuster’15 exclaims.

It is amazing how one person can post a picture of their pet and the next day their famous, with hundreds of likes. Each animal has a talent or trait that they are well known for. I think that it is cool that owners are willing to share pictures of their furry and friendly little pets. Not only for people to see there adorableness, but also as entertainment. To begin with, there are many popular dogs. Jiff the Pomeranian can ride a skateboard, dance, do walking handstands and he also has a heartwarming smile. He attends celebrity events, and takes selfies. An achievement for the lovable little dog was getting into the Guinness world records.
Another dog who is just as lovable as Jiff, Yogurt the pirate is a beautiful one eyed chihuahua. The little princess became famous when her owner posted pictures on Instagram. Along with Yogurt, Norm the pug is also famous for his pictures that are posted on Instagram daily. On the other hand, Gidget, The Taco Bell Chihuahua was well known for her appearance in Taco Bell commercials. Finally, Honey Tree Evil Eye better known as Spuds MacKenzie was popular for Bud light commercials, Spuds character is a male but the actual dog is female.
Additionally, There is an equal amount of famous cats around the world. Grumpy cat is known for her grumpy face and rose to fame when her picture was posted on Reddit. Grumpy cat has recently aired a christmas movie November 29, 2014, on Lifetime. Another famous cat is City the kitty who is well known for his appearance on My cat from hell and Bad dog. “He’s so cute! I love him” Shuster exclaims.
City’s owner posts pictures on Instagram daily. I think City is funny. I love his poses and creativity. Lil Bub, another famous little kitty, is the runt of her litter and was rescued from a tool shed in Indiana. Lil Bub is a movie star and an author and helps raise money for animals in need. “It’s very adorable!” Shuster said.
Furthermore, Not only the typical house pets are rising to fame. Animals of various kinds, are famous too. Keiko the whale was famous for his role as Willy in Free Willy, Free Willy 2 and 3. Mr. Bagel, a chinchilla is also famous for posting pictures on Instagram with props and different outfits. He is a rescue and promotes animal rescue and adoption. In addition, Raw the chipmunk is unbelievably adorable. Lastly, Biddy the hedgehog, has nearly 590 k followers on Instagram. “I don’t even have that many followers, it is crazy” Lela Graves’ 15 states
I look forward to seeing more pictures and videos of adorable animals and their talent. It’s also a good way to get it out that there’s some animals who face extinction, danger or could use a loving home. They’re so cute I want to cuddle them.
