Why are you applying to run for this position?

I am applying to run for Recording Secretary because in the beginning of high school, I would have never dreamed of how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown. I love this school and how it has shaped me to be the outgoing and upbeat person I am today. I am running because I want to use the position to pay my thanks forward to not only the school but to every single person involved in allowing me to help others find their voice and their own happy place within our school.

What qualities do you have that make you stand out over the other candidates?

Some qualities that I have that make me stand out from the other candidates are my enthusiasm for life, my dedication, my positivity, and my outgoing personality; also, how I strive everyday to put a smile on at least one person’s face.

If you won your position, what do you want your legacy as a Top 5 member to be?

If I won the position of Recording Secretary, I would want my legacy in the Top 5 to be, “the girl who made every voice heard”. I believe that every person has a voice worth being listened to and that every opinion matters.

If you had to choose one quote that describes your personality or outlook on life, which would you choose?

If I had to choose one quote that describes my personality and outlook on life it would have to be “Throw kindness around like confetti”. I love this quote so much because I live by it. I believe that no act of kindness goes unnoticed and that even the smallest acts, make a big difference. I feel that everyone deserves a smile once in a while, and I strive to be that smile.
