Sounds Good Feels Good

All over the world, music is released. Sometimes, listening to the same music over and over again gets boring. You end up not wanting to listen to it, but you don’t know what else to listen to. That’s why I chose to do a review on music. I assume that in October you probably saw a band called 5 Seconds of Summer at the top of the charts. They were number 1 in the US. They just released a new album called Sounds Good Feels Good.

This album explores a variety of genres; each song is different in its own way. If you’re a pop, rock, punk, or alternative genre fan, you will most likely like this album. The deluxe version has sixteen songs, and the Target deluxe has eighteen. 5 Seconds of Summer, known as 5sos, are a band from Sydney Australia. Some of their success came from touring with One Direction, but the bands differ from each other. 5sos didn’t get any of their music from One Direction, although the bands are close.

5sos have a total of three albums and eight eps. They have on album, which is self-titled, a live album, and their newest album Sounds Good Feels Good. Their first album is a lot different from their second, as they are more mature and have more musical experience. Most of their inspiration comes from older rock bands, and punk-rock bands.

5sos have four singles which drew a lot of attention to this album. You’ve probably heard ‘She’s Kinda Hot’ at some point, but that song isn’t the whole album. This album is more personal and emotional. They have a few upbeat, jump-around songs, but it’s mostly personal experience. If you aren’t a rock/punk/pop fan, you might not like this album.
