What is the charity you chose to represent?  

Freedom Neighborhood One. I want to give back to the community that raised me. I want this to be a reminder that no matter where I am at in life that I will never forget where I come from.  Not many people outside of my community see the work that’s being done to ensure better lives for our youth.  

What is your favorite pick-up line? 

Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again? 

Favorite food? 

Pasta (any), preferably alfredo. 

Favorite movie? 

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! 

Favorite music artist?             

Frank Ocean. 

What has been your most embarrassing moment at WTHS? 

Falling up the stairs freshmen year in front of everyone.  

What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience? 

Track, they’re my home away from home.  

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? 

The ability to save money, it’s impossible. I always will want something. 

What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life? 

Savor the little moments because those will soon become the most important.  

What are your plans and goals for after high school? 

Go to college to become a social justice attorney.  

What teacher or faculty member has made the biggest impact on your high school career? 

I have a few, one thing about Township is that they have amazing teachers who impact lives without realizing it. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be the young woman I am today without them. 

Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you? 

My brothers. I know that no matter where we are we will always have each other.  

What did you learn from the pandemic? 

Everything is temporary, don’t take anything for granted. 

What is one thing you cannot live without? 

Music, it’s my sanctuary.  

Describe yourself in three words: 

Patient, outgoing, and honest 

If you could bring one person, thing, and appliance to a deserted island, what would it be? 

One person would be Jada Byran, one thing would be a huge RV, and one appliance would be a radio.  

What has been the best part about being on the Homecoming Court? 

I get to form new bonds. These ladies are so beautiful and kind, there is nothing I would change about any of them.
