On Monday, October 19th, the Washington Township Minutemen beat the Kingsway Dragons 12-8 in a junior varsity football game. This was their first home game of the season.

During the game, the offense consistently fought hard against the tough Dragon defense. The minutemen finished off the game with a total of two touchdowns, one in each half of the game. There was also one interception, and the quarterback for the Minutemen was sacked twice. Even with these setbacks, the Minutemen stayed tough in order to pull out a win.

The defense also played hard against Kingsway. They made it difficult for the Dragons to get past their strong defensive line. They only allowed one touchdown in the first half of the game, and none in the second.

At home, the Minutemen Junior Varsity football team is 1-0. Their next game is Monday, October 26th at home against Winslow Township.
