Rudolph Review

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is a 1964 Christmas animated stop-motion. It was created by Videocraft International and currently distributed by Universal Television. I recently just watched this movie again, as I do every Christmas, and I still cannot believe that this movie is entirely made from clay. This movie is watched mostly every Christmas, mostly by many children.

This story is told by Sam the Snowman, he tells us about a young reindeer who, after being excluded from all the reindeer activities because of his bright red nose, teams up with Henry, an elf who wants to be a dentist, and Yukon Cornelius, the prospector. They find the land of misfit toys after running from the abominable snowman. Rudolph thinks he can get Santa to help the toys and he can be back at the North Pole by Christmas Eve. But Santa’s sleigh is fogged in and he has an idea to use Rudolph’s nose to see the sky. Moral of the story a misfit reindeer and his friends try and find a place that will accept them.

I really enjoyed watching this movie, it has such a good meaning and it teaches kids a lesson about how everyone should be accepted no matter what they look like or who they are. There were many reviews and 92% of people liked this movie. I asked my little sister what she thought about this movie and she said it was her favorite Christmas movie. “I liked sitting near my cozy Christmas tree and watching a really cute movie,” she said. It was an exciting movie to watch and it seems like a lot of time and hard work was put into this cute Christmas movie.
