Second Column Entry- Eating Healthier

This week I’d like to talk about eating heathier. Like I mentioned in the previous article, usually as soon as us teens get home after a long day at school the first thing we want to do is grab a bag of potato chips and pass out on the couch. But what if instead we went home grabbed a bag of grapes and went to go exercise. Imagine if we did this every day. I think if teens began doing this routine we would see a big difference everywhere. I know that most kids think that fruit is gross and not really what they want after a long day at school. But what if I could tell you how to make fruit delectable and delicious!

I think some kids really forget that it is important to be healthy and that a notorious diet is very important for your wellbeing.  I don’t have much room to talk either because I do eat very unhealthy but I think that if I and many other people worked toward that goal of a healthier diet, we would see a big change.  Obesity is a big problem in the U.S. and I think that has a lot of do with the amount of unhealthy food we are producing. If we could find a way to make healthy food yummier, I think that many more people would eat them. Recently there has been a craze going for cotton candy grapes. It may sound weird but these delicious treats fill your mouth with bursts of cotton candy flavor while also being extremely healthy for you. I think that things like these are a fantastic idea and we should make things more like these flavorful fruits.

All in all, I think that out country needs to start eating a lot healthier. A simple diet of healthy foods really would not be so bad if you eat just the right delicious things.
