As most people have heard of there was an incident this past week where there was a huge mistake in the crowning of Miss Universe 2015. Steve Harvey was the announcer for the 2015 Miss Universe contest and in the last few minutes it was between Miss Columbia and Miss Philippines, it was very suspenseful until Steve Harvey announced the winner as Miss Columbia. There were shouts of joy and the winner was crowned with a sash that said “Miss America” and a large crown that was almost bigger than her head. All the sudden Steve Harvey announces that he has made a terrible mistake and announced the wrong winner of Miss America and the real winner was Miss Philippines.

Although Steve Harvey afterwards did take full responsibility for his big mistake it still was very saddening for many fans of Miss Columbia. Also he genuinely apologized to Miss Columbia who obviously must have been very upset after the incident. Although some people right now are saying that there are rumors that the teleprompter actually showed that the winner was Miss Columbia and the card is just something for show.

The hate on Steve Harvey has been horrific after his big mistake and there was much feedback on social network like Instagram and Twitter especially, even with Donald Trump making a smart comment.
