What is the charity you chose to represent?
The American Brain Tumor Association because it holds a special place in my heart. When I was just a few months old, my Poppy was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma brain tumor. Before he passed away he was a teacher and coached youth sports for over 30 years. My whole life I’ve been told how good of a person he was and how much he meant to so many people and what he did for them. I want to help people that are going through similar things my Poppy did.
Why do you best represent WTHS?
I enjoy talking and helping people with anything they need. Whether it’s to make someone not having a great day laugh or help them with an assignment they’re struggling with, I enjoy and take pride in helping the people around me in my school and community.
If you could pick anyone beside yourself to win, who would it be?
Jack Schuck because over the past four years I’ve gotten to know him really well and he has been a true friend to me who always motivates the people around him and is always willing to help people.
Favorite music artist:
Zach Bryan
What TV show/movie character are you most like?
Michael Scott because we both have a strong desire to make people laugh and create a fun environment for the people around us.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring with you?
my phone, pizza, and soap
What is your go-to Wawa order?
Can’t go wrong with a Wawa quesadilla with chicken and cheese, pico de gallo, jalapenos, applewood smoked bacon, and avocado with a side of sour cream to dip it in.
What has been your most embarrassing moment at WTHS?
At lunch my friend spilled almost all of his water bottle on me, and I had to walk out of the gym, drenched, in front of everyone.
What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience?
Unit lunch with all my friends freshman and sophomore year
What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?
As much as I heard it as an underclassman and shrugged it off every time, it really is true to cherish every moment in the short four years you have in high school. Go to every dance, join any club or sport that interests you, and make as many memories as you can, because pretty soon you will be going into May of your senior year thinking about things you wish you did as a freshman or sophomore that you now can’t go back and do.
What are your plans and goals for after high school?
attend Rowan University and major in Nursing and become an RN
What is something about you most people do not know?
I’m colorblind. People finding out about this usually then leads to them pointing around the room asking what color everything is.
Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you?
My Mom and Dad because they both motivate me to work hard in everything I do. They also have been perfect role models to me, and I will forever strive to be as successful as they are.
What has been the best part about being on Mr. WT?
Meeting or getting closer to the other guys on the panel. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the other 11 guys, and I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to.
