What is the charity you chose to represent?
Treats for Troops because it gives back to the men and women that are fighting for us every day. Seeing the reaction of the troops when they receive unexpected care packages is truly amazing.
Why do you best represent WTHS?
I have been representing WTHS through sports and other school events for the past four years. Throughout these years and opportunities I have showcased WTHS’s morals and values to others.
Favorite music artist:
Rodarius Marcel Green. Rod wave has been one of my favorite artists for a while because when I listen to him, it just feels different.
What TV show/movie character are you most like?
John Wick. I feel as if I am a fierce competitor and can complete any challenge or obstacle put in front of me.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring with you?
I would bring my three best friends, Colin McAnaney, Sean Schubert, and Luca DeFruscio. As long as I got those guys, I’ll be alright.
What teacher or faculty member has made the biggest impact on your high school career?
Coach Mitchell. Mitch has been there for me since the first day I came to WTHS. He made sure I always had a home on the track team and has supported me and checked in on me throughout my entire high school career.
What is your go-to Wawa order?
Chicken Caesar wrap and a Gatorade
What has been your most embarrassing moment at WTHS?
Freshman year I was in the lead to win a Cross Country race. I then went the wrong way and ended up losing.
What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?
Just slow down and appreciate the things you think you shouldn’t. It goes by way too fast, and you’re going to miss it. My advice for real life is to have the discipline to make sacrifices. Giving up things that you want now, for something that you really want in the future, will take you very far.
What are your plans and goals for after high school?
I plan to run Cross Country and Track and Field for DePaul University. Throughout those years I will be studying exercise science in hopes to become a Physical Therapist. Though, the Olympic triathlon dreams never die, Brisbane 2032?
What is something about you most people do not know?
I am a professional and sponsored disc golfer for Cosmic Disc Golf. Disc Golf is something I started with my dad for fun during covid, but it immediately became an obsessive hobby. After two years I got really good and even got sponsored by a local brand.
Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you?
My father. Almost all the goals I have in life, he has already accomplished. He has taught me an immense amount of life lessons and has always guided me to success. Through his battle of cancer this year, he showed me what toughness and resilience truly looks like.
What has been the best part about being on Mr. WT?
Hanging out with all the guys. Every practice we have so much fun dancing and joking around with each other. I’ve never done a show like this before, and doing it with these guys and learning the dance from Sophia, Gia and Maddie has made it so memorable.
