What is the charity you chose to represent?
National Adrenal Disease Foundation (NADF) because although this disease is not very common, it is very personal to my family. My twin sister Lainey was diagnosed with Cushing’s Syndrome junior year. It was a scary time for my family because it was hard to diagnose at first, and she had many strange symptoms. She had a benign adrenal tumor. Thankfully she was able to get surgery and with a year of treatment she has made a full recovery. I thought it would be a good idea to bring awareness to this rare endocrine disorder.
Why do you best represent WTHS?
I have an optimistic outlook on life, always try to brighten peoples’ day, and try to make someone smile or laugh on the daily. I make an effort to talk to everyone, I would consider myself very sociable, and I am very involved throughout the high school as well.
What is your favorite pick-up line?
Do you have a name? Or can I call you mine?
If you could pick anyone beside yourself to win, who would it be?
Honestly anyone. All 12 of us have gotten very close this year especially throughout this experience, and I would be happy with any one of these guys winning; they are all great.
Favorite music artist:
Either Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo, or Drake. I have a lot of favorite artists, but these are definitely my favorites at the moment.
What TV show/movie character are you most like?
Definitely Dipper Pines because I have a huge, outgoing personality, I am a twin just like him, and I am always up for an adventure or solving a mystery.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring with you?
A trampoline, my phone, and my noise cancelling headphones. I could jump on the trampoline for hours with my noise cancelling headphones on 24/7.
What teacher or faculty member has made the biggest impact on your high school career?
My favorite teachers throughout high school were Mrs. Radziak and Mrs. Barretta. Mrs. Radziak is a kind-hearted teacher that brought me joy and helped me understand literature to a better understanding. Mrs. Barretta is a fun and loving teacher I could go to for anything and has helped me become a better student and person. Special shoutouts to Mrs. Bochanski, Mrs. Sandusky, and Mr. Tsoukalis as well!

What has been your most embarrassing moment at WTHS?
When I knocked over the chorus poster in the middle of the class, and it completely broke into pieces and the whole room went quiet. Very humbling experience.
What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience?
This year’s NHS induction ceremony because it was the first time I stood in front of a large group of people and got to lead something I feel very passionate about.
What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?
Enjoy every moment in high school and don’t care what other people think of you. Life is too short to be upset about what someone else says or thinks. Just be your true self and make the most of your time by surrounding yourself with people you love.
What are your plans and goals for after high school?
I plan to attend either Clemson or Kentucky University majoring in Finance in hopes to one day manage or run a business. I was always a math kid and love working with numbers.
What is something about you most people do not know?
I am a really good snowboarder, and I travel across the east coast to different ski resorts. I love snowboarding and have become really good at it throughout middle and high school.
Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you?
Throughout my life so many people have influenced me and have helped me become the person I am today. A special shoutout to my family, friends, and to anyone who has impacted me in a positive direction.
What has been the best part about being on Mr. WT?
Getting to bond and build connections with some of the boys that I wasn’t friends with before this experience. This experience has brought new friends, new opportunities, and definitely new skills as well.
