What is the charity you chose to represent?
The Usher 1F Collaborative. My cousins, Jax and Chase, both have a condition called Ushers Syndrome, which causes deafness at birth and gradual vision loss over time. They are both some of the most active and fun loving kids that I know, and they are true fighters. I love them and want to do anything to help them get improved treatment, so picking this foundation was very important to me.
Why do you best represent WTHS?
I’ve been heavily involved in so much of what WTHS has to offer throughout my four years, like choir, drama, and tennis! I try to be as positive as I can everywhere I go, because positivity is something that is so beneficial for everyone to have!
If you could pick anyone beside yourself to win, who would it be?
I’d pick Kaeden. He is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and I am so lucky to have him as a friend. No one represents this school better and I’m so proud of him for everything he’s been able to do here at WTHS.
Favorite music artist:
WEEZER
What TV show/movie character are you most like?
Georgie from Young Sheldon. I don’t even watch the show, but I’ve been told I look like him more times than you’d think.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring with you?
Insulin, my friend Piotr Bochenski, and a grimace shake
What teacher or faculty member has made the biggest impact on your high school career?
Ms. Melson. Since becoming our choir teacher, she has been such a supportive teacher for everyone involved in choir and has really made choir a home for many of us. She’s always there to lend a hand or give advice with anything that you need, and I couldn’t have asked for a better choral director!
What is your go-to Wawa order?
Energy drink, cold brew, hot dog
What has been your most embarrassing moment at WTHS?
I’ve thrown up during the intermissions of two shows at WTHS. Both times were so humbling.
What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience?
Getting to direct the Senior Directed Cabaret with one of my long-time best friends Eddie was probably the best moment of my life. Our hard work paid off and I genuinely could not have asked for a better show, cast, or co-director!
What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?
Life is what you make of it. Have a positive attitude and it makes everything so much easier and more fun!
What are your plans and goals for after high school?
I am planning to major in musical theater and become an actor after college.
What is something about you most people do not know?
I really like classical Chinese music. I bump it in the car a lot!
Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you?
Since I was a toddler, I always looked up to my older cousin Bob. He pushed me into music, which is now my passion and future career. He was Mr. September and Mr. Washington Township in 2015, and I am so glad to be able to continue the family legacy this year.
What has been the best part about being on Mr. WT?
Getting close with the other 11 guys has been awesome. Putting all of this work into a show has been so much fun and I wouldn’t want to do it with any other group.
