What is the charity you chose to represent?
Colorectal Cancer Alliance. My mother’s best friend since childhood, Lisa Windt, was diagnosed, treated, and beat colorectal cancer twice. I want to raise money so more research can be done and hopefully a cure can be found.
Why do you best represent Washington Township?
Because I care deeply about the school. I constantly strive to make new friends and make everyone’s day better. I am an optimistic, energetic, preppy, and a positive individual that is highly interested in serving as a role model for all the students at Washington Township.
What is your favorite pick-up line?
“Was it love at first sight? Or should I walk past you again?”

Chelsea Petro. Chelsea is involved in so many activities and clubs at the school and always has a positive attitude. I feel she represents Washington Township very well.

What is your go-to Wawa order?
Junior turkey hoagie with lettuce, mayo, salt, pepper, and oregano with either a can of Pepsi or a half cherry half coke slushy.
If you could give yourself one superpower, what would it be?
Invisibility. Being able to go wherever you want, whenever you want is an insane thought. Plus, you could get out of a ton of things.
What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience?
Cheering at the varsity football games. Being able to do what I love in front of my closest friends makes it so much fun. I love being at every game and making memories with the rest of the girls. Becoming a captain will forever be one of my greatest accomplishments. TWP Cheer will forever hold a special place in my heart.
If you could change one thing about the world you live in, what would it be?
Nacho fries never being taken off the Taco Bell menu.
What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?
Don’t take anything for granted. High school goes by fast… I feel like I was a freshman yesterday. And I know all of this sounds so cliché but trust me. Live in the moment and have fun because in the blink of an eye… it’s all going to be over.
What are your plans and goals for after high school?
Attend either Penn State, UMiami, or the University of Hawaii to study criminal justice. I would like to become a detective after college.
What teacher or faculty member has made the biggest impact on your high school career?
Mrs. Montano aka J-money. Mrs. Montano always had a way of making class fun and likeable. History is honestly my least favorite subject (sorry, Mrs. Montano), but I was always excited to go to history last year. She makes everybody feel comfortable and is just a bright light to be around.

My three older brothers. They have taught me how to push myself, be strong, and be confident. They are always there for me when I need them and would never let anybody hurt me. I have looked up to them my entire life.
What is one thing you cannot live without?
My strawberry acai refresher with lemonade, light ice, no berries, and 6 pumps of vanilla. Starbucks is my fuel. I think my body is 60% that drink, not water.

All-Star Cheerleading. I have done All-Star cheer for 11 years and it has become a second home for me. Although, it is very misunderstood. People think cheerleading is just yelling and pom poms, but they haven’t seen a competitive cheer routine. I could talk about this for hours.
What has been the best part about being on the Homecoming Court?
Getting close and bonding with all the other girls! We have had such a great time working together and getting to know each other. I never want this experience to end. I have built so many new friendships and I cannot wait to continue them when this is all over.
