Christina Fath

What is the charity you chose to represent?

The charity I chose to represent is the USVI Hurricane Relief Efforts. This past spring break my older sister had the opportunity to study abroad in Saint Croix, where she met some great people and had a life changing experience. Because of the recent hurricanes devastating the Caribbean, the US Virgin Islands are in ruins and are in desperate need of any aid they can get. This fundraiser is sending money directly to the people on the island so that they may try to rebuild and purchase the necessary resources they need to survive.

Why do you best represent WTHS?

I believe the Minuteman is my spirit animal.

What is your favorite pick up line?

“Hey, could you pick that up, please?”

If you could pick anyone beside yourself to win, who would it be?

I have so many close friends also in the court and I am so happy to be sharing this experience with them. I would be thrilled if any of them won!

Favorite food?

Pasta, because I burn everything else.

Favorite movie?

Soul Surfer. Bethany’s story has inspired me for years.

Favorite music artist?

Easy, my heart was completely won over when I saw him perform at the bubble bowl. It’s gotta be SpongeBob.

What has been your most embarrassing moment at WTHS?

Trying to get ping pong balls out of a tissue box while the box was attached to my butt at the renaissance rally junior year. You can imagine how that went.

What has been one of the most memorable aspects of your high school experience?

When I’m not injured during cross country season, spending time with my favorite group of people.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would like to hope that one day my arch nemesis won’t be my own two feet.

If you could change one thing about the world you live in, what would it be?

The San Francisco City flag.

What advice would you give to underclassmen about high school? About life?

The only opinion that matters is your own. Be happy in your own skin.

What are your plans and goals for after high school?

Survive and Thrive.

What teacher or faculty member has made the biggest impact on your high school career?

Sra. Kelly has had the biggest impact on me because she taught me to take every day at my own pace and have fun along the way.

Who in your life has had the biggest influence on you?

Linda Belcher, you can sing about anything if you try hard enough.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

Given that I am 3/5 Nutella, probably Nutella.

What is something about you that most people do not know?

I am a blackbelt in karate. Most people don’t know this because it is not true.

Describe yourself in three words.

Cute but tired.

If you could bring one person, thing, and appliance to a deserted island, what would it be?

I would bring a pilot, an airplane, and a coffee machine, to make sure that we stay awake on our trip to Fiji. If I’m going to be stranded somewhere it is going to be in Fiji, not some random island.

What has been the best part about being on the Homecoming Court?

Sharing this experience with some of my best friends.
