What is the charity you chose to represent?

The charity I chose to represent was The Mummers Against Cancer Foundation. I chose this charity because my dad has been a mummer for over 40 years, and in 2016 my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. During endless appointments and chemotherapy treatments he still participated in mummer’s events. Also, this charity donated to my family and I would like to give back and help another mummer family out there in need.

Why do you best represent WTHS?

Truly, I don’t think there is a certain way to “represent” WTHS. We all are different and represent WTHS in our own special ways.

One thing I would change about myself is that I need to believe in myself more often.

If you could change one thing about the world you live in, what would it be?

I would change technology, because everything we do now is on our phones or on our laptops. We text and FaceTime more often than we talk to each other in person.

Cherish time with your friends, get involved, STUDY, and do your work. School matters!!!

One teacher that made a huge impact on my high school career would be Mrs. Scardino-Welch. When I was struggling in class, she believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. She is a great person and teacher!

My parents have had the biggest influence on me. They are always pushing me to be my best and to work hard,  just like they do, and even through tough times they pushed through.

 Humble, Hardworking, Caring

If you could bring one person, thing, and appliance to a deserted island, what would it be?

I would bring my little sister, food and a TV.  I would bring my sister because she is nuts and would make a deserted island entertaining, I would bring food because I mean who would want to be stranded on a deserted island starving, and a TV because you can never live without Netflix

What has been the best part about being on the Homecoming Court?

The best part of being on homecoming court is how close the 11 girls and I have gotten over the past month. Experiencing this with them is something I will  never forget!  I wish we all became close sooner.
